I can't even begin to say how nice everyone is. Sonora Smiles goes out of their way to offer a friendly environment. Very customer service oriented and great at explaining the procedures. This is no joke, I drive 471 miles to see Dr. Berger and his team for all my dental needs.

Best "team" I have ever experienced in a dentist's office. EVERYONE is caring, concerned and professional in all ways! Chanel is a superb dental hygienist. I look forward to my quarterly visits as my teeth feel great afterwards!

I unhesitatingly recommend "Dr. Dave" and Sonora Smiles. From your arrival to your exit, you will be treated with respect by the courteous, kind staff and acknowledged as an individual. Upbeat Aaron and Michelle greet you with an offer of "coffee or water?" Interesting and independent, dental technician Lisa will engage you in conversation and listen attentively. When friendly, open Dr. Dave arrives, she is expected to provide him with a synopsis of your personal and dental data. He will not rush your initial evaluation. He appears to hold his support staff to a high standard of accountability, too. Bubbly dental hygienist Holliday provides gentle, but thorough cleanings and neat freebies. Smiles is located in a rennovated older home. The uber spotless wait area, outfitted with leather furniture, hardwood floors, stone fireplace, and a great view, feels like a comfy living room in a rustic mountain cabin. Each of the work spaces has its own unique outdoor view. Everyone's dazzling smile stands as a testament to the quality dental care provided by Sonora Smiles. Frankly, while I dread keeping an appointment at the hair salon, I have no anxiety about a dental visit to Sonora Smiles.

Having many long and stressful, painful and nerve wracking dental experience in the past, I was VERY hesitant to do anything besides my two annual cleanings. But, some old veneers definitely needed replacing and so I met, with great reservations, with Sonora Smiles. The staff,especially Lisa, was so overwhelmingly kind and caring, I very quickly felt much more at ease. As I near the last procedure to have the permanent veneers put on, I am still very nervous, but know the kind, caring, and wonderful team at Sonora Smiles, will make the experience much more tolerable! Dr. Dave is the 3rd dentist I’ve tried in Tuolumne county and he is the first dentist that does it all – meaning that he doesn’t send you to someone else for root canals etc.. I’m in my mid forties and have had 2 dentists my entire life so when I moved to Sonora 11 years ago and still driving 2 hrs to see my dentist it was time to trust a local dentist!! The entire staff is friendly and it’s a very CLEAN environment. Sonora Smiles HAS my vote!!

Driving by on Tuolumne Road, I noticed the building and thought, "That's how a dental office should look. Tasteful, clean, comfortable, and easy to access." I stopped and went inside. A friendly guy made an appointment for me at MY convenience. I met Dr. Dave Berger and his wonderful professional staff, and I was hooked. By far the easiest dental exam in my 70 years, state-of-the-art in every way, and Clean! Best of all, I didn't have to say much. They understood what I needed at once and explained all my options. Dr. Berger obviously is knowledgeable about dentistry. He and his staff are also "people oriented" and caring. Truly a great experience I recommend to everyone

Everyone is so nice, kind and professional. This visit I even remarked to the office staff that they do extremely well in picking people who work there. Whatever their process is, works very well. Everyone is nice. And they are great at what they do. Dr. Berger is in tune with our needs and circumstances and works so well with us. Dr Berger and staff are ALL courteous, conscientious people who are always at their best. Treatment, scheduling, insurance authorization and billing all executed professionally and with a smile. I could not ask for more!

I was in and out in an hour with a temporary crown. I experienced absolutely no pain and minimal discomfort during the procedure and feel the same afterward. The dentist is no longer a visit to fear.

Dr. Berger and his staff are wonderful. I highly recommend them. He uses state-of-the-art technology coupled with fine patient care. I travel from our homes at Pine Mtn Lake (near Groveland) and Los Altos to be his patient.

I had a wonderful experience with my appointment on Friday. The staff is very friendly and genuine. I had a great cleaning with Holiday. She was very thorough and informative. I left with my little goodie bag containing a toothbrush and floss. Thanks everyone for another great experience in your office. See you in 6 months for my next check-up and cleaning.

I was greeted with a Hello Nina and a big smile, I didn't have to wait more than a minute. The entire appointment was a pleasure. I feel like the entire staff is very professional and friendly. Dr Berger makes going to the dentist a good thing, I use to get nervous and hated the experience, but no longer, its not a problem anymore.
